About

Meet Ms. Angie

I'm an educator with many years of experience teaching and tutoring in public, private and homeschool settings in pre–K through twelfth grade. My academic specialty is reading, writing, and math. I believe in inspiring children to love learning, and I encourage them to become lifelong learners.

I attended UNC-Wilmington, where I received my bachelor's degree in education. I taught in the public school system, homeschooled my children, and currently tutor and teach sewing classes. I work with struggling students as well as those who need to catch up in certain areas or need to be challenged.

I love to sew, socialize, create, and share. I noticed children were not having the experiences that I had been privileged to enjoy throughout my childhood. Therefore, I designed sewing classes to teach children how to enjoy what I so dearly love! Sewing classes meet monthly, and we enjoy fun camps in the summer.
